Procurement Specialist - Dieppe, NB

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe, New Brunswick and Borden, Prince Edward Island is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Using the established target inventories, you will create and issue materials and supplies Purchase Orders.
  • Expedite shipments, as required, to support manufacturing schedule and on time delivery.
  • Oversee aging lists. Work closely with sales, accounting, and production to formulate plans for the consumption or disposition of stale inventory.
  • Manage vendor claims related to defective products. Maintain claims log and work closely with vendors towards our target of 30 day or less resolution.
  • Maintain vendor performance scorecards.
  • Follow up with vendor and ensure Purchase Orders delivery dates are updated in our ERP.
  • Support accounts payable personnel with price and quantity variance issues.
  • Analyze usage of materials to maintain effective inventory levels.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business is preferred. Related experience will be considered as an
  • Possess or willing to obtain a supply chain certification program (i.e CPIM or other)
  • Knowledge of international trade requirements would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, detailed oriented inventory management

Quality Lead - Dieppe, NB

Master Packaging Inc., the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, located in Dieppe, New Brunswick is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in joining our team in the role of Quality Lead.

You will be responsible for being the Plant lead in the development and execution of quality standards for our products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Technical resource/liaison for all Raw Materials, processing, converting plus functionality of corrugate manufacturing between suppliers and customers.
  • Work directly with all external and internal customers investigating and gaining corrective actions to product complaints as it relates to the quality system or procedure.
  • Maintain Quality systems.
  • Build Monthly Quality Presentations.
  • Oversee the Quality systems to ensure compliance to specifications and policies.
  • Continuous coaching of operational and management teams in areas of product quality and defects.
  • Train operational groups in areas of quality
  • Routinely report major quality metrics to Plant, Management and Leadership Teams
  • Act as alternate technical resource and back up to the Quality manager
  • Work with the Process Engineer to close gaps identified either internally or externally.
  • Manage Lab, perform testing and ensure lab equipment is calibrated and serviced.

Years of Experience:

  • ­Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment (Corrugate packaging knowledge preferred)

Education Level:

  • ­ Post secondary degree/diploma in a technical field.
  • ­ Certification in Quality, Auditing, and project management are all assets to this role.

Preferred experience/Required skills:

  • Ability to develop and implement plans, procedures, and performance measures.
  • Excellent technical judgment
  • Experience in internal and supplier audits
  • Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for interaction with suppliers, customers, and co-workers.

Master Packaging Inc. est actuellement à la recherche d'une personne motivée et axée sur le client pour se joindre à notre équipe en pleine croissance en tant que Spécialiste des solutions client (travail hybride) pour notre territoire québécois.

Responsabilités:

Ce poste requiert les compétences nécessaires pour gérer les relations avec les clients internes et externes tout en assurant un support efficace pour nos différents produits. Travaillant dans un environnement B2B, ce rôle nécessite un équilibre entre les compétences en service à la clientèle et les connaissances système et techniques, l'ingéniosité et la capacité à résoudre les problèmes. Plus précisément, le candidat retenu devra:

  • Recevoir les commandes des clients, vérifier les commandes en cours, l'inventaire et ajuster les quantités de commande si nécessaire.
  • Surveiller les étapes de production, le type de carton, la capacité de production et travailler en étroite collaboration avec la planification pour enregistrer les commandes et donner des dates de production réalistes.
  • Coordonner avec l'expédition pour organiser les camions, envoyer les balances d’inventaire et ajuster les stocks.
  • Réapprovisionner l'inventaire au besoin selon les ententes de service des clients.
  • Interagir quotidiennement avec les clients et les parties prenantes concernées pour comprendre les besoins et les exigences des clients afin de faciliter les commandes de la réception à la livraison.
  • Devenir un expert des connaissances sur les produits Master Packaging.
  • Gérer les approbations entre le service de conception et le client pour les échantillons, les épreuves et les illustrations. Planifiez les approbations côté presse pour les premières commandes.
  • Fournir un soutien continu à l'équipe des ventes externes.

Exigences et compétences:

  • Le bilinguisme (anglais/français) est requis.
  • Une formation Collégiale en commerce ou l'équivalent est préférable.
  • Une forte orientation service client avec 2 à 5 ans d'expérience en service client, de préférence dans un environnement manufacturier ou B2B.
  • Une expérience en gestion de projet est un atout.
  • Une expérience dans l'industrie de la transformation du papier, de l'imprimerie ou des arts graphiques est préférable, ou une aptitude à apprendre.
  • Compétences informatiques intermédiaires et solide connaissance de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Master Packaging Inc. is currently seeking a self-motivated and customer focused individual to join our growing team as a Customer Solutions Specialist (Hybrid) in our Quebec territory.

Responsibilities:

This position requires the skills to manage internal and external client relationships while providing support successfully and effectively for our various products. Working in a B2B environment, this role requires a balance of customer service skills with system and technical knowledge, ingenuity, and ability to solve problems. Specifically, the successful candidate will:

  • Receive orders from customers, check open orders, inventory and remainders and reduce order quantities accordingly.
  • Monitoring machine routings, board grade, capacity and work closely with planning to book orders and give realistic dates of production.
  • Coordinate with shipping to arrange trucks, send remainders, and reduce inventory.
  • Replenish inventory as required depending on customers' service agreements.
  • Interact daily with customers and relevant stakeholders to understand customer needs and values to facilitate orders from receipt to delivery.
  • Become a knowledge expert in Master Packaging products.
  • Manage the approvals between the Design department and the Customer for samples, proofs, and artwork. Schedule press side approvals for First Time Orders.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Outside Sales Team.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
  • College education in business or equivalent is preferred.
  • A strong Customer Service orientation with 2 to 5 years' experience in Customer Service, preferably within a manufacturing or B2B environment.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • Experience in the paper converting, printing or graphic arts industry is preferred, or an aptitude to learn.
  • Intermediate computer skills and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Hourly Rate: $20.00 /+ $2 Night Shift / Time and a Half Sunday Premium

Rotation: 4 on, 4 off (8 Day Rotation)

Shift: 2 Day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) followed by 2 Night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities:

As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the quality of our finished product and will assist and work cooperatively with the staff as needed in a variety of roles all while following safe practices.
