Front Line Manager - Dieppe, NB

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe, NB & Borden, Dieppe is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Front Line Manager (FLM) in the Dieppe, NB.

Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented team and reporting to the Production Manager, you will be mainly responsible for the following:

Accountable for the performance management of his/her team:

  • Participate in the hiring process
  • Coach and train his/her team to align toward set goals
  • Conduct annual performance reviews; in addition to adhoc performance management

Manage his/her team with employee safety as a primary focus:

  • Teach, promote, and apply Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Promote and apply HAACP policies and procedures
  • Promote and assure good housekeeping practices
  • Participate as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee

Management of his/her production team:

  • Time & attendance management including vacation scheduling and Kronos timekeeping
  • Identify and manage daily priorities to ensure customer on-time delivery
  • Participate in daily Production Meetings
  • Ensure that all required quality checks are completed and that only acceptable quality products are produced and shipped
  • Communicate quality root cause analysis to crew member(s)
  • Participate in Operations Review and employee events

Communication:

  • Conduct monthly crew meetings
  • Ensure effective communication of company and plant information to team members
  • Ensuring and respecting confidentiality throughout the organization

Requirements and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education would be considered an asset
  • Experience as a Team Leader is essential
  • 5+ years management and manufacturing experiences preferred
  • Printing or die cutting knowledge/experience
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, coaching and presentation skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the organization
  • Proficient computing skills
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Employ the highest standards of ethics in business

Master Packaging Inc., the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, located in Dieppe, New Brunswick is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in joining our team in the role of Production Associate.

As a member of a highly energetic and goal oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the quality of our finished product along with the associated daily production data input documentation. Furthermore, you will assist and promote adherence to quality practices and performance standards, promote good housekeeping methods and promote achievement of world-class waste goals all while enforcing safe practices among your team members.

The successful candidate has a received a high school diploma. Must be multi tasked, result oriented, team player and most importantly willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Must have the drive to advance and learn to assist and operate machinery. Starting wage $19.45/hour.

Production Associate - Borden-Carleton, PE

Master Packaging Inc., the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging, located in Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island is currently seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals who are interested in joining our team in the role of Production Associate.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 /+ $2 Night Shift / Time and a Half Sunday Premium

Rotation: 4 on, 4 off (8 Day Rotation)

Shift: 2 Day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) followed by 2 Night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities: As a member of a highly energetic and goal-oriented team, you will be mainly responsible for the quality of our finished product and will assist and work cooperatively with the staff as needed in a variety of roles all while following safe practices.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have High School / GED level education. Must be multi tasked, result oriented, team player and most importantly willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
