Data Collection

  • Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
  • Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
  • Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems
  • Compile information from various departments to fulfill certification requirements for annual audits

Inventory

  • Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
  • Update standard costs in the bill of materials
  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
  • Report on breakeven points by products and work centers
  • Report on margins by product and division
  • Report on periodic variances and their causes
  • Partner with the Master Estimator to assure job costing is accurate

Reporting

We are hiring a Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team at our Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island location. You will be responsible for all aspects of property maintenance, both in the buildings and in the grounds. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance/general landscaping, be skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to travel to various sites. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. 
  • Performing preventative maintenance and basic repairs. 
  • Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
